Welcome to the VBP Group Small Business Training Division. Our workshops are designed to assist small business owners interested in doing business with the Federal Government. The information received during the training sessions will be helpful to each 7(j)/8(a) business CEO/Executive in the development of a partnership with not only the SBA, but with all Federal Agencies. The VBP Group is committed to providing quality and professional training to your state and all states across America.

The VBP Group will provide training on how to successfully and strategically market your firm to the Federal Government as well as how to effectively manage your funds and prepare a cost proposal to be submitted to the Federal Government for a potential contract. The training will include individuals on our team who will present real life experiences from a, "been there done that prospective"¯. Our team members have a very broad background ranging from a former assistant secretary, an administrator, successful 8(a) business owners and former contract officers in the Federal Government.

The VBP GROUP, LLC is a consulting firm with distinctive capabilities in providing professional services in Human Resources, Recruiting, Civil Rights, EEO, Diversity, Training, Communications and Public Relations. Vernon B. Parker, President and CEO served as the first ever Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights at the United States Department of Agriculture. Mr. Parker fought for equal rights for small businesses and; community and faith-based organizations across the country. Mr. Parker truly knows the struggles and hurdles that small firms encounter in doing business with the Federal government; and is committed to our goal of providing excellent training to all attendees in an effort to break down the barriers that small firms face nationwide.
